What Other's Say
"Revelation 7:9 depicts a great multitude of believers from different ethnocultural backgrounds serving God together. Since we must pray that God's kingdom would manifest itself on earth as it does in Heaven, Christ's church should reflect the diversity that exists in Heaven. I thank God for scholars such as Dr. Melendez because there is an urgent need for Christian scholars from a variety of backgrounds to use their talents to minister to the body of Christ."
Dr. Matt Akers
(Mid America Baptist Seminary)
"Having studied together and served churches with Dr. Melendez, I can attest not only to his incredible giftedness as a theologian and teacher, but also to his unceasing passion to make disciples of people from every background. I look forward to seeing how God will use Dr. Melendez in his position as chair of Old Testament and Biblical Studies at Oklahoma Baptist University to mentor and encourage the next generation of missional-minded disciplemakers."
